About the Author
Paulina Brown is a southern California resident and mother of two smart, beautiful children. Paulina never dreamed of being a children's book author, she stumbled upon writing one summer in 2010, when she decided to write a story for her son, Evan. Paulina and her son enjoyed the story so much that another story was written and then another. Soon after, Paulina's stories took a turn, it was then that rhymes were drumming though her head. With much resistance to writing rhyming stories and trying her hand at drawing, several stories were written and The Evanator Stories were born. The Evanator Stories are what Paulina calls her largest collection of children's stories featuring a young boy and his scuffy puppy, called Puppy.
Most of Paulina's training has been in the field of acting. For years Paulina fought fears of speaking and worked hard to overcome many challenges. Paulina is best known for her theatre acting including plays such as Anna in the Tropics, Stone Soup, Babes in Arms (yes, she even experimented with musical theatre and singing), Picasso at the Lapin Agile, along with several others. Paulina's been seen in a handful of commercials, TV shows and films, such as Bold and the Beautiful, Air America, Mike Hammer, The Only Way, Peach Soup and The Von Steins, to name just a few.
Paulina has big dreams and continues to work on her acting career as well as sharing her children's stories.

Orange County Children's Book Festival
It's that time of year again. This September 25th you can find Paulina Brown at the Orange County Children's Book Festival, from 9am-4pm, for one day only. Paulina will be there in person ready to autograph your books. You can find Paulina Brown, across from the petting zoo and the animal stage, next to the parking lot off of Fairview Road.

Paulina Brown was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for her participation in the DEAR Read Aloud Day at Bell Garden's Intermediate School, on March 8, 2016.

I love The Evanator Stories. It's so exciting for me to see Paulina's stories come to life with her fabulous illustrations. The stories are so fun & the pictures are so bright & colourful, the perfect combination for children learning to read.
